On Sunday 1st February of our weekend of events the Kitchenology team welcomed members of the public to our free open day.
Jo, our professional chef started off with bacon and sausages cooked on the induction hob for Brunch with some sweet options to keep everyone happy.
She then demonstrated how to cook a full Sunday lunch on a combi steam oven. Succulent chicken, crispy potatoes and plump plum crumble attracted a large crowd! Then for those that were still a little peckish, scones and cakes were made for afternoon tea!
Professional tips, techniques and advice were followed by tasting sessions as a steady flow of willing participants staved off the cold by indulging in the delicious temptations on offer. A wonderful day of fun and learning was had by all.
